Hello, I am George Glispin and I am honored to serve as President of TWUA for the coming year. I look forward to meeting many of you as I travel to the Regional Schools throughout the year.

I began my career in the waterworks industry in 1988 as a municipal waterworks salesman for Coastal Pipe and Supply. In 1997, I began working for Ford Meter Box Company where I am currently employed as the District Manager for South Texas. I have been a member of TWUA for 25 years. I am currently a member the Guadalupe Valley District and the Hot Wells District. I served as President of the Hot Wells District for several years. I have been a member of the TWUA Exhibits Committee since 1993. From 1995-1999, I served on the Management Committee as the Vendor Representative. I’ve also been involved in the V. M. Ehlers Scholarship program for more than 20 years; serving as the Endowment Representative for both the Hot Wells District and the Guadalupe Valley District. Lastly, I’m honored to serve as a Trustee for the V.M. Ehlers Scholarship Foundation.

This year TWUA celebrates its 100th year of providing training programs and technical publications for those employed in the water utility industry. If you are a member of TWUA and are not currently involved, I urge you to volunteer in your local District/Section or Regional School or on one of the TWUA Committees.

George Glispin,
TWUA President
