AT-LARGE (MEMBERSHIP IN THE ASSOCIATION)

The Texas Water Utilities Association has two ways of becoming an Indivdual Member. One is where you become a member of the Association only who is called an "At-Large" membership - membership in the Association, but not in a local District or Chapter.

Benefits:

  • Save 10%-35% on registration fees at various schools, seminars, symposiums and workshops (offered by TWUA or subsidiary units).
  • Special membership discount on manuals and other materials (if bought through TWUA).
  • Free subscription to monthly journal valued at $10 a journal.
  • Free updates on regulatory and technology changes.
  • Easy access to industry matter experts, vendors, product providers etc.
  • Recognition for individuals or utilities for achievements attained.
  • Opportunity to apply for scholarship assistance (for you or your children) through the V.M. Ehlers Foundation, Inc. (Eligible applicants only).

Membership fee:

$60 annually

DISTRICT OR CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP

Are you licensed by the Texas Commision on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for any of the following?:

  • a water treatment plant operator
  • a water distribution system operator
  • a wastewater collection system operator
  • a wastewater treatment plant operator

Then please join one of our 68 local Districts or Chapters NOW!

Benefits:

  • Credit's for renewing one's certification (by attending local Chapter meetings) and easy cost effective license renewal hours (TWUA is the only Texas organization which can offer up to two (2) hours of water and wastewater operator licensing credits for verified attendance at monthly meetings of our Districts and Laboratory Analyst's Chapters arount the state).
  • Valuable networking and oppertunities for growth with other professionals.
  • Brain storm and problem solving at peer group meetings.
